I have known Annette from High School days. Haha, you might say jeepers, Kim, you’re still a spring chicken. But no, the story is actually I used to work at our local High School as a youth coach and Annette was still the spring chicken.
Annette is beautiful inside and out. She is wise beyond her years and knows exactly what she wants out of life. So when I met David I knew she had chosen wisely. Jeepers these two are amazing together. Their vibes are tangible and I must confess it was difficult getting a shot where they were not kissing!
The day before I arrived to go have a look at the venue and see where everything was, I was kinda sinking in my boots. It was a typical Cape Town misty, drizzly and you-can’t-see-nothing-open-your-eyes kinda day. I had no idea where the mountains were or where the sun set. But like a perfect love story, the next day it was clear skies. I actually worked up a bit of a sweat! Zorgvliet is a beautiful venue, friendly staff and they make the most amazing food!
I loved every minute of the day. However I did get a little concerned when Annette and David disappeared and everyone wanted to know from me where they were. Haha, full of adventure and surprises those two.
In my heart I have a contentment when I look at you two Annette and David. I know marriage can sometimes have it’s challenges, but I have this feeling you guys have a great Textbook and I know you won’t be lazy to use it. I look forward to the future Mr. and Mrs Human because I know you two are going to shape each other into folks with character and integrity.
I hope these photographs will be your reminder of where your story as husband and wife began.
